The Challenge
The team behind Arbor & Firewood direct needed to create an identity and an ecommerce platform that reflected its position as a Premier Firewood company. More importantly, the company needed the branding to be modern and engaging. They required brand guidelines and a suite of marketing collateral to get them started. A mobile optimised and responsive website was also required – an essential tool to maximise their sales opportunities, advertise and sell their products.
Solution
We set our design team to work, brainstorming ideas for a logo and colour scheme for a firewood business and to create and identity that set them apart from the competition. Once approved this formed the basis for the look and feel of the ecommerce website.
However, to accommodate the need of the business we needed to consider more than just visuals and front-end development; we had to incorporate a series of third party platforms, feeds and marketplace integrations into the backend. Our recommended combination of backend systems enabled our design and development team to bridge the gap between an ascetically pleasing website, centralised inventory management and error free functionality.
We worked closely with the team at Arbor & Firewood Direct to implement a multi-channel marketing strategy, across traditional and digital channels, encompassing local newspaper advertising, automated direct mail and SMS, social media marketing, and nationwide pay-per-click and Google Shopping campaigns.

With so many aspects to this project, we were incredibly impressed with Aztek’s regular and clear communication, and importantly for us their agile approach to managing this project.
We’re delighted with the strong brand that they have created. The feedback from our customers is exceptionally positive and due to the ease of ordering our online sales have far surpassed our initially projections.

Results
In the three months following the launch of the brand, Arbor Firewood has seen a return of over 120% on their initial investment.
We continue to provide brand protection, ecommerce website management and online and offline marketing support for Arbor Firewood.
